Maintpartner started its operations as an independent company in November 2006. Prior to that, we were a Fortum Service unit responsible for industrial maintenance.
Maintpartner's experience in industrial maintenance dates back to the 1980s when the power company Imatran Voima, later known as Fortum, decided to expand its operations beyond power generation.
The first comprehensive agreements with external industrial customers were made in the 1990s. The majority of these agreements are still in effect.
Specialization and the growth of the industrial customer base from energy to, for example, metal and chemical industries ultimately led to Maintpartner becoming an independent company.
From the very beginning, Maintpartner started to grow through acquisitions and new outsourcing contracts. Today, Maintpartner is one of the leading technical service companies in the Baltic Sea region with a solid track record in several industries.
