Since its foundation, Maintpartner has been responsible for the maintenance of several power plants, and is now also taking care of operating the plants and district heating networks. Therefore, it was natural for the company to join FinDHC, the co-operative body of the district heating sector, which aims to improve the general awareness of district heating and its significance in Finland.
"We want to join in to develop the industry with our decades of experience," explains Timo Partanen, President (act.) of Maintpartner's energy business. "It is important for us to safeguard the position of district heat and its development as an environmentally friendly heating form. I believe that acting in an association will also help us to serve our customers even better. "
FinDHC evolves cooperation between its members - district heating producers, service providers, equipment manufacturers and private individuals. The association distributes fact-based information on district heating, monitors the technical and economic development of the district heating sector and legislation and, if necessary, submits presentations and statements.
